I met Lolo at the theatre. My birthday July 31st Lo’s Aug 1st. On our 21st birthday we did 21 swigs of Jack Daniels. I know I never touched Jack again cause of that night! After a few years of working together we became very good friends and decided to rent our 1st apartment together. We bought our 1st pet. I’m sure you all know about Jimmy. His whole name was Jimmy Kuchenbecker (my maiden name) Totleben Buffet. Our apartment was on the third floor. We both loved storms, so when we both had a night off together, we would position the couch in front of the sliding glass doors and watch the storm go by. We went on several vacations together. How we choose to go to Key West (I know everyone is thinking because of Jimmy Buffet but it wasn’t) We put the map of the United States up on a wall and put a blind fold on and threw a dart, we gave ourselves 4 tries, 2 each, we picked the best place of the throws, yes Jimmy Buffet won out. One of our weekend getaways was decided by me choosing the expressway and the direction and Lo choosing a number between 50 and 200, that was the miles to drive, our getaway was Rantoul, Illinois. Doesn’t sound like it would be much fun but you all know if you’re with Lo you are going to have fun! We really didn’t need to go anywhere we had a lot of laughs no matter where we were. I’m sure Margie and Lo told stories of going to New Orleans, So much fun!!!
I will miss Lolo always and I’ll have a smile on my face thinking of our times together!
